Automated MFA Login - Arcadia Managed Email
To ensure uninterrupted data flow without manual intervention, we recommend enabling Automated MFA Login. This solution securely automates authentication, bypassing the need for you to manually handle verification codes during data refreshes.
How It Works
With your consent, Arcadia updates the primary email address on your utility account to a secure, Arcadia-managed address. This allows our system to facilitate logins on your behalf.
The Process:
- Consent: You authorize Arcadia to update the primary email on your utility account.
- Activation: Arcadia enables automated login for your credentials.
- Re-authentication: You perform a one-time authentication on the Plug Dashboard to finalize the link.
- Automatic Retrieval: When the utility sends an MFA code, Arcadia securely extracts it to access your energy data.
- Forwarding: All utility communications (MFA codes and general emails) are automatically forwarded to your personal email to ensure full visibility.

Important Notes
- Account Settings: You will see the Arcadia-managed email address listed within your utility account settings and MFA methods.
- Persistence: To maintain automation, the Arcadia-managed email must remain the primary address on the utility portal. Reverting this to a personal email will disconnect the data stream.
