Organization Configurations

Some settings are at the organization level. An organization is defined on the Plug platform as an individual instance of the Plug product. When these configurations are enabled, they impact every relevant object equally.

Statement history capture period

This setting is a contracted value for how far back we will pick up historical statement data from a website, assuming it exists. By default, this value is 12 months. Many Bill Pay customers prefer 0 historical statements, whereas some business use cases call for 24+ months of history. Reach out to your Account Manager to discuss changing this value.

Auto interval meter enrollment

This setting removes the manual step for your team of activating an interval meter upon discovery. When we find the meter through the credential submission process, we will automatically enroll the interval meter. This enables you to receive data faster as there is no waiting period between the meter being discovered and someone on your team enrolling the meter. This results in your organization being billed for all interval meters submitted.

Hide passwords

This setting restricts the ability for admins in your organization to view passwords. This is a common setting for our B2B2C customers. With this feature enabled, no one in your organization will be able to view any passwords submitted.

Password policies

This setting allows your organization to require specific password policies for users within your organization.

  • A minimum password length
  • Require at least one uppercase character
  • Require at least one number character
  • Require at least one special character
  • Enforce minimum password re-use
  • Require users to rotate their passwords every X (configurable) number of days

Who can update these values?
