Calculate the cost of electricity on demand - for a specific tariff, time range, and kWh value or array.
The Calculation APIs are the main endpoints for our Signal Product. This enables Utilities, Energy Retailers (REP), and other entities that need to run lots and lots of calculations. With these APIs, you can:
- On-Demand Cost Calculation - run costs for a single case, such as a historical bill, a month-to-date cost forecast, or a “what-if”.
- On-Demand Mass Calculation - run up to 20 scenarios at once for a given customer’s usage and rate inputs. Ideal for tariff rate plan comparisons and optimizations, but also useful for modeling usage and other changes too.
- Smart Price - get the marginal rates for a given window of time (typically the next few days). Suitable for load management, device scheduling, and user education purposes.
