Use General tariff filters when you need commercial or industrial tariffs that match a customer's consumption or demand profile.
Certain filters are more applicable and effective when applied to the "General" customer class, which covers commercial and industrial electricity users.
Filter by consumption and demand size
Commercial and Industrial (C&I) tariffs often have specific consumption and demand limits. We include information about these limits in each tariff as tariff properties. When filtering tariffs by consumption and demand limits, you'll use the populateProperties=true parameter along with the consumption and demand query string parameters.
Authenticate each request with HTTP Basic Authentication. Use your App's appId as the username and appKey as the password. To create or find these credentials, follow Create an API Application, or see the API Security page for authentication details.
