Automated MFA Opt-out makes it possible for you to seamlessly disable MFA on supported utilities directly from the Plug dashboard, without following complex guides, or manually updating every credential.

With this release, we are expanding our existing automated opt-out capabilities! Current utilities supported with opt-out:

• Enbridge, San Diego Gas & Electric, Eversource
• Evergy (NEW)

How it Works?

1. Login via Connect – Begin by logging in/retrying MFA verification for your credential through Connect in Plug dashboard.
2. Authenticate with an MFA token – As part of the login flow, enter the MFA token received from the utility.
3. Opt-out Consent – Within the same window, provide consent for Arcadia to disable MFA on your behalf.
4. Energy data access without disruption – Once successfully opted-out, the credential is no longer blocked by MFA, enabling smooth and continuous data access without repeated tokens.

Simplified Experience: You no longer need to follow long, detailed opt-out guides. The new process requires the you to provide opt-out consent and share a single MFA token through the Plug dashboard to turn off MFA permanently.
