[Plug] Rate limiting updates
To increase Plug performance and mitigate potential downtime, we are updating Plug's API rate limits. You can find the up to date information on our Rate Limiting page.
[Plug Intervals] Interval data imputation
The normalized version of the interval API is now enhanced to fill gaps in interval data with estimates using machine learning.
[Plug Intervals] Discovered Meters and Active Meter Data Recency
Interval data just became more transparent! Previously, it was not possible to see when the most recent data for an interval meter was without first activating the meter. This pain point was exacerbated by some providers not publishing any interval data for interval supported meters.
[Plug Intervals] Instant Intervals
Plug intervals now supports instant interval data collection capability for select providers.
[Plug Statements] Identifying Statement gaps
We are excited to introduce a new feature designed to help you understand where gaps may be in your data! There are numerous reasons why gaps may exist-- perhaps your credentials have expired, maybe the provider is late in posting their statements, or Arcadia may need to make an update to our extraction logic based on recent provider changes to name a few examples.
[Plug Intervals] Auto activate interval meters
Enrolling interval meters just got easier! If your organization is looking to receive all interval meters that are found behind your credentials, look no further. We now offer an organizational level configuration that takes out the manual step of enrolling an interval meter. If this feature is turned on, all discovered meters will be enrolled by default. Read more about organization level configurations here!
[Plug Intervals] Download interval data as CSV
Plug intervals now supports access to interval data in 2 ways: via the plug interval APIs and now as a csv downloaded from the Plug Dashboard. This makes access to interval data more convenient than ever.
[Signal] Signal Starter monthly tariff limit change
The monthly unique tariff limit for Signal Starter is changed to 200, effective February 1, 2025. Exceeding the allotted limit results in a response error. Contact the Arcadia Sales team to learn more about the Signal Enterprise plan if your team has a need for higher volume!
[Signal] Updates to Illinois Net Metering Tariffs
Significant changes to Illinois' net metering policies took effect on January 1, 2025. These changes substantially impact new solar customers who install their systems after this date. The Arcadia team previously created experimental tariffs to empower users to gain familiarity with these new tariffs and test calculations before these changes go into effect; we have now finalized production tariffs. Additionally, Arcadia conducted a detailed analysis to assess how these changes might affect solar savings.
[Plug Intervals] Smart Meter Texas integration
Smart Meter Texas (SMT) is a platform managed by the 4 Texas generating utilities (Centerpoint, Oncor, AEP Central/North, and Texas New Mexico Power) that publishes interval data for meters installed in the Texas ERCOT region. Plug Intervals now supports collection of interval data using SMT API's for Texas ERCOT meters.
