Changelog
Removed Credential Auto-Deactivation
Previously, when all accounts under a credential were deactivated, Arcadia would automatically deactivate the credential as a convenience feature. However, some users rightfully pointed out that by deactivating a credential, they lose the ability to have new accounts discovered under the credential in cases where they'd prefer to also have all existing accounts under the credential deactivated.
[Signal, Switch] Update to Tariff Modeling in Texas
Texas Transmission and Distribution Utility (TDU) rates will be updated September 1, 2025 with the following changes:
[Signal, Switch] API Spike Limiter
To ensure fair access and high performance for all users, our Signal and Switch APIs now includes a dynamic spike limiter. This system protects against sudden, uncharacteristic surges in API traffic that could degrade service for others. The spike limiter works alongside existing rate limiting best practices, including concurrency controls and gradual ramp-up of request rates.
[Signal, Switch] SSO
The Arcadia Platform Dashboard and Genability Signal & Switch supports Single Sign On (SSO) by way of OpenID Connect (OIDC). This allows your IT department to manage who has access to their Arcadia application(s) and with what permissions, through your own identity provider. SSO can be set up if you are subscribed to at least one Arcadia product (Signal, Switch, Plug).
