[Signal, Switch] Support for Contracted Rate Transaction Types
Contracted rates now support user provided transaction types!
Why does this matter?
You can now specify transaction types (e.g., BUY, SELL) directly on contracted rates, ensuring accurate modeling for complex contracts like net metering. This update improves calculation accuracy and regulatory compliance across all supported markets.
How it works
When you include a transaction type in your contracted rate input, our calculators and UI will apply the correct rate for each transaction, whether it's an import (BUY), export (SELL), or other supported types. If no transaction type is specified, the system will continue to use default behavior.
