Bulk Site upload is now live in Plug 🏢

We’re excited to announce that Bulk Site upload is now available in the Plug Dashboard so now you can import all of your buildings in one go! 🎉

Why this matters

Creating sites one by one can be a tedious process. With the new bulk upload feature, you can now create up to 10,000 new sites at once using a simple CSV file, downloadable directly from the dashboard. Even better—you can also update site information in bulk using the same workflow!


Key features

  • Bulk creation: Upload up to 10,000 new sites at once via CSV.
  • Bulk updates: Easily update existing sites by including the site ID in your upload.

How it works


  1. Download the CSV template: Start by downloading the CSV template from the dashboard.
  2. Fill out the template: At minimum, provide a unique siteName for each site. All other site fields are optional.
  3. Submit the CSV file: Upload your filled-out CSV to the Dashboard, and the processing will complete within seconds! ⏱️
  4. Update sites: To update existing sites, include the siteId in the CSV and provide any updates to the relevant columns.
